SPIMEX launches diesel futures trading

Russia’s St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange, or SPIMEX, has launched trading of summer diesel futures. The futures contract is based on products loading onto railcars at the Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, Ryazan, Yaroslavl and Samara refineries for delivery in March and June 2011, the exchange said. The futures are traded in minimum lots of 60 metric tons. (December 17, 2010)
