SPC launches environment-friendly enterprise   

Shanghai Petrochemical Co. Ltd. (SPC) has launched the National Environment-Friendly Enterprise. The strict standard of establishing an environment-friendly enterprise requires compliance with 22 basic conditions. SPC will carry out the establishment in five phases in accordance with the requirements of Chinas Ministry of Environmental Protection. SPC, the Jinshan District and the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park have recently signed an agreement to jointly establish a national environmental protection model district to achieve a safe, green and harmonious society.
