SKF signs five-year contract with Fibria

SKF announced this month that it had signed a five-year contract with Fibria, a Brazilian pulp and paper company. The deal represents one of the largest contracts entered into by SKF for its Integrated Maintenance Solutions.
SKF is a Swedish company that supplies bearings, seals, lubricants and lubrication systems, maintenance products, mechatronics products, power transmission products, as well as related services globally.
Under the performance-based contract with Fibria, SKF will supply training, engineering, condition monitoring, bearings, predictive and lubrication services, operator driven reliability (ODR), as well as maintenance products.
The company’s Integrated Maintenance Solutions allows SKF to become an integral part of the customer’s operational team and SKF takes responsibility for the creation and implementation of an asset management strategy with the goal of increasing the customer’s reliability and the profitability of its facilities.
