SK Lubricants gets AA rating

Korea Ratings said it has assigned an AA-issuer credit rating (ICR) to South Korean lubricating oil and base oil producer SK Lubricants Co Ltd. The rating reflects SK Lubricants’ strong market position, favorable market environment in the long term and support from its parent company, SK Energy Co. Ltd. The rating takes into consideration a fall in the company’s profitability in the first half of 2009. (October 20, 2009)
