SK Inchon Oil Ltd. is considering investing 1.97 trillion won (US$2.05 billion) in new facilities to produce 55,000 barrels per day (bpd) of light fuels, according to a South Korean newspaper. The project by SK Inchon Oil, taken over by industry leader SK Corp. knowledge_base year, is the latest in a range of projects that would add 390,000 barrels per day of refining capacity in South Korea by 2010, with a total investment of 10.66 trillion won (US$11.09 billion).
