SK Group launches new web portal  

Chairman Chey Tae-won of South Korea’ s SK Group said he hopes that the group’s new online portal will help create a powerful corporate culture. In his congratulatory note on opening the new web portal, the chairman said that the the new portal should not be perceived as simply integrating the intranets of various subsidiaries and affiliate firms but rather, creating an arena to cooperate and establish a strong and distinct corporate culture whereby all SK members use a unified system of communication. The SK Group officially launched the new portal web page for communication and sharing on August 13.Currently, four affiliates appear on the new portal including SK Corp., SK Energy, SK C&C, and SK Lubricant. More affiliates are expected to be added soon. (August 13, 2010)
