Sinopec to start operations at Singapore lube plant

China Petroleum and Chemical Corp. (Sinopec Corp.), is scheduled to begin operating a lubricant blending plant in Singapore in late October, according to a report by the Economic Observer. The plant, estimated to cost RMB580 million (US$92.7 million), will have an initial production capacity of 110,231 tons per year. (September 17, 2012)
