Sinopec to construct lube plant in Singapore

Sinopec Corp. said it will construct a lubricating oil plant in Singapore, allowing the company to assert its global competitiveness by setting up a major exporting base in the Asia-Pacific region. Upon completion, the lube oil plant will have an annual capacity of 100,000 metric tons. This will be the company’s first directly invested overseas lubricants plant. Previously, the company engaged two Singapore-based companies to toll blend its products. (March 17,2011)
