Sinopec Group’s new Beihai refinery now fully operational

Sinopec Group of China announced that its new 100,000 barrel-per-day refinery in the southern coastal city of Beihai is fully operational. The refinery is designed to treat sour crude, but for now it will run on higher quality sweet crude from West Africa. (January 5, 2012)
