Sinoenergy opens CNG refueling stations
Sinoenergy Corporation announced that its first two compressed natural gas (CNG) filling stations opened on September 30 on Changfeng Street and Baibuting Street in Wuhan City. Currently, the city of Wuhan, China, has 20 CNG filling stations, one central station and a large-scale CNG plant in the design and engineering phase. Sinoenergy aims to expand this number to 50 by the end of 2009. Bo Huang, chief executive officer of Sinoenergy, says that his company is working on expanding its CNG filling station network in central and southeast China, in a bid to become the largest CNG filling station owner/operator in mainland China by 2009.
