Shenhua to start marketing CTL products

The Shenhua Group announced that by early 2008, the company would begin marketing barrels of liquid petroleum products produced from coal. For this, three large coal-to-liquid projects will be launched, namely Shenhua’s coal-to-liquid direct liquefaction project in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Yitai Group’s coal-to-liquid project and Lu’an Group’s coal-to-liquid indirect liquefaction project in Shanxi Province. Upon completion of these projects, annual output capacity will reach 143,200 tons. (September 27, 2007)
