Shell to give stations new look
Shell petrol filling stations throughout Thailand will undergo renovation starting in July. Shell Thailand Chairman Tiraphot Vajrabhaya said 50 stations would be re-branded in the first phase. Shell has also been re-branding its service stations in other countries including Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore. It is using what it calls a new “visual manifestation,” which it said is necessary because of fierce competition in an oversupplied market operating on thin margins. (June 5, 2007)
