Shell sets goal to double revenues in Vietnam

Mark Gains Borough, vice chairman of Royal Dutch Shell Plc, speaking at a meeting with Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Trung Tin, said that his company is looking to expand its presence in Vietnam.  In 2010, Royal Dutch Shell had sales of US$150 million from its lubricant, LPG and asphalt business.  The company expects to double that sales level in the next few years. There are currently three Shell businesses, Shell Vietnam Co., Shell Gas Vietnam and Shell Gas Joint Hai Phong Venture operating in Vietnam in the areas of bitumen, lubricants, chemicals, marine products, LPG and water proof paints.
