Shell seeks to expand business in Vietnam

A delegation of Shell International Petroleum Co. Ltd. recently made a field trip to Ho Chi Minh City to seek opportunities to expand its business in the country. During the visit, Brian Davis, vice president for downstream strategy, met with the deputy mayor of the city, Nguyen Thanh Tai, the Saigon Times Daily newspaper reported. Davis showed his interest in the cityโ€™s plan for the development of infrastructure, particularly a network of petrol stations. Shell is operating in Vietnam as a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell PLC, engaged in the distribution of bitumen, lubricants, chemicals, marine products, water-proof paints and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
