Shell Oil President Odum calls on governments to support investments in advanced biofuels

Shell Oil Company President Marvin Odum, speaking at a U.S. Energy Information Administration conference, called on governments to support the development of advanced biofuels and offer incentives to companies working on the development of these fuels. Odum stated, “During the next twenty years, biofuels will likely be the most practical solution for reducing carbon emissions from transportation. The international market for biofuels is growing and with the right policies in place, it could grow even faster.” (April 27, 2011)
