Shell Marine Products to launch marine lubricant Alexia S4

Shell Marine Products (SMP) revealed plans to launch its marine lubricant Alexia S4, in a bid to capture a share in the marine lubricants market which is valued at more than US$5 billion. Shell said that Alexia S4 addresses the various stresses that a two-stroke engine is subjected to during operations. SMP supplies a wide range of customer vessels ranging from huge ocean tankers to small fishing boats in 47 countries. Aside from supplying 15,000 customer vessels, SMP also provides services to more than 450 ports. (December 14, 2011)
