Shell Lubricants appoints Nitin Prasad as India head

Shell Lubricants announced the appointment of Nitin Prasad as its new India country head, succeeding Donald Anderson, who was head for three years. Prasad was previously Shell’s Asia Pacific and Middle East regional head for the Chemicals Supply Chain. “Under Prasad’s leadership, Shell Lubricants will further its focus on growth, through brand building, technology partnerships with key customers and introduction of new, differentiated and innovative offerings that cater to the India Lubricants consumer,” the company said in a statement. Shell is the leader in the global lubricants market, with a 13% market share in terms of volume. The company makes and sells more than 3,000 different lubricants to meet customer needs across a wide range of applications. (March 21, 2012)
