Shell launches new FuelSave fuels in Thailand

Pissawan Achanapornkul, country chairperson for the Shell Co. of Thailand, said Shell has introduced a new blend of fuel that promises improved efficiency called “FuelSave” making it the first retailer in the country to market a fuel economy formula. Pissawan said the new formula can save up to one liter per tank, and that it is designed to keep valves clean, while improving combustion and engine efficiency. The company is replacing Shell gasohol 95, Shell gasohol 91 and Shell Diesel B5 with the “FuelSave” fuels at its 370 service stations nationwide. (August 10, 2010)
