Shell introduces new improved line of greases

Shell Lubricants is introducing a new enhanced line of Gadus greases with the ability to stand up to extreme weather. The new greases have been developed to lubricate bearings in weather conditions, ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold, in addition to very wet environments. The company’s products are currently used in hydroelectric power plants and dams sometimes at 180 meters below water level, dredging operations and railroads operating at – 30ºC. The new line of products is identified by key tiers including entry, mainline, premium and advanced. “Shell Gadus is the new unifying name for Shell greases, creating one of the largest global grease brands. The range of products has been developed to deliver value through enhanced wear protection, long grease life and increased system efficiency,“ said Gordan Dillaman, global general manager for grease, Shell.
