Shell in talks for refining venture with PetroChina, CNOOC

Shell is in talks with PetroChina and China’s CNOOC to jointly build and operate new refining capacity as it expands its foothold in the fast-growing Asian energy consumer nation, Shell Chief Financial Officer Simon Henry said. “A key part of our strategy is maximize our exposure to Chinese markets and helping Chinese companies become international and developing business together, that way we get to win on all sides,” Henry told reporters at a strategy presentation in London.
