Shell China in joint venture to build facility in Tianjin

Royal Dutch Shell Plc’s China units and Tianjin State Farms Agribusiness Group Co. have agreed to build a 200,000 cubic meter oil products storage facility in the northern city of Tianjin. Construction of the facility will begin in June this year and is expected to be completed by June 2013. When fully operational, the new facility will have an annual throughput of 3 million tons. The two companies have built other fuel stations in Tianjin, which they are now operating. (January 9, 2012)
