Shell Australia resumes fuel deliveries from Pinkenba
Shell Australia said that operations at its Pinkenba oil products terminal at Eagle Farm in southeast Queensland have returned to normal following a recent shutdown due to extreme weather. Fuel deliveries have resumed, the company said in a statement, although road conditions make it difficult to access some customer sites. โThere is adequate stock at the terminal to deal with current customer demand, however future stock levels are dependent upon how soon the Port of Brisbane opens for crude oil and fuel imports,โ said Paul Zennaro, spokesman for Shell Australia. Pinkenba is Shell’s major fuel distribution point in Queensland and houses its state office, a bitumen and specialty products facility, fuel storage, including LPG, a lubricants and grease manufacturing facility and several warehouses.
