Shandong opens first CNG station

The first Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) station in Chinas Shandong Province’s Jining City was formally put into operations on August 8th. Jining City will invest CNY104 million (US$13.7 million) in the establishment of 16 natural gas stations in the future, with all of the stations to be completed by October 2009. By that time, all taxies in the city will be powered by CNG. (August 13, 2007)
