Shamrock puts into operation 2 additional storage tanks in Latvia

Shamrock Shipping and Trading, a global supplier and distributor of base oils, lubricants and petrochemicals, has put into operation two additional storage tanks in Latvia. The chemical storage facility consists of mild-steel tanks of 400-3000 m3 and can transship, store and repack base oils, finished lubricants, petroleum and chemical products, with a total capacity of 19,000 m3 or about 160,000 barrels. Shamrock operates storage facilities in three strategic locations in Europe – Latvia, Belgium and the U.K., with a total capacity of 25,000 metric tons. All storage facilities can be accessed by sea vessels, railway and cars/trucks. (April 20, 2012)
