SG Biofuels names Pattnaik to lead India operations

SG Biofuels, a San Diego, Calif.-based bioenergy crop company which is expanding in India, has named Subhas Pattnaik director of operations to oversee the new enterprise. In his new role, Pattnaik will bein charge of the development of multiple J max jatropha optimization centers, which will test and adapt elite hybrid cultivars of jaropha to a range of growin conditions. He formerly led the operations of mission New Energy in india. Kirk Haney, president and chief executive officer fo SG Biofuels said “India represents a significant yet untapped market for jatropha and we are privileged to have Subhas, with his extensive experience managing jatropha planations throughout the country, leading our operations.” (March 7, 2011)
