Sales tax from oil products boosts Pakistan’s coffers

The Pakistani government has earned about Rs200 billion (US$2.38 billion) in taxes on sale of petroleum products in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year, amounting to almost half of the total sales tax collection, official figures showed.
