S. Korea's consumption of petroleum products reaches record high in 2011

Consumption of petroleum products in South Korea soared to a record high last year even as the price of global crude oil prices increased. Consumption of petrochemical products including naphtha, jet fuel and gasoline went up by 8.84% from 794.27 million barrels a year before, to a record high of 801.30 million barrels.
