Russia’s FAS investigates Lukoil units
The Perm Region branch of Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service has started an investigation against Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez and Lukoil-Permnefteprodukt over the alleged monopolistic pricing of diesel fuel and gasoline, Dmitry Makhonin, head of the branch, said. Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez and Lukoil-Permnefteprodukt are subsidiaries of oil major Lukoil. Lukoil’s diesel fuel prices rose 27% from October 18 through December 20, while gasoline prices increased 2–3%, he said. (December 28, 2010)
