Russia raises tariffs for petroleum product transport
Igor Dyomin, press officer of OJSC Transneft, said that tariffs for petroleum product transport services will be increased on August 1, within the limitations set by Russia’s Federal Tariff Service (FTS). “We have the right to contain general tariffs at 70% of railroad tariffs for petroleum product shipments. Since the beginning of the year, tariffs for pipeline transport were on average in the system of 0.45 to railway tariffs. Now we are raising that coefficient to 0.49,” Dyomin said. (July 27, 2012)
