Rayong Purifier to build biodiesel plant
Thailand’s Rayong Purifier Company is building a 300,000 liter per day palm oil-based biodiesel plant in Rayong on the country’s eastern seaboard, an RPC official said. The project is expected to cost 400 million baht (US$12.6 million) and is scheduled to start production in July 2008, the official said. Thailand’s Board of Investment granted several fiscal incentives to the project, including income tax exemption for the first eight years and an exemption of import duties on all machinery approved by the BOI, RPC said.
