PTT Chemical sets R&D budget

PTT Chemical P.L.C. (PTTCH), the country’s largest petrochemical producer, is preparing to spend 800 million baht (US$23 million) over the next five years on research and development as part of its diversification plan into related businesses and consumer care products. The company will soon be opening its Science and Innovation Centre. PTTCH is open to cooperation with outside organizations and research institutes to promote the development of downstream products, particularly olefins and product platforms covering performance materials, specialty chemicals, bio-based chemicals, animal health and nutrition and household and institutional care products.
