PSO to resume sale of E10

Pakistan’s Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has notified that the ex-depot price of ethanol blended fuel (E10) will be set at Rs70.64 (US$0.84) per liter effective April 1, 2010. The current ex-depot sale price of unleaded petrol is Rs73.14 (US$0.87) per liter. Pakistan State Oil (PSO) would resume E10 sale from April 4 in Sindh only. According to OGRA notification, the prescribed price of E10 gasoline is Rs56.81(US$0.68) per liter. The petroleum levy included in prescribed price (for sale through retail outlets) is Rs9 (US$0.11) per liter while the prescribed price for direct sale to consumers by oil companies is Rs11.35 (US$0.14) per liter.
