PMC acquires Dow's polymer stabilizer and solid lubricant business

DebtoshPMC Group N.A., Inc. announced that it has completed the acquisition of the global methyl tin stabilizers and solid lubricants business of The Dow Chemical Company. The business includes global organotin and heavy-metal free organic polymer stabilizers, polymer lubricants and multi-component package product lines sold under the brand names ADVASTAB(TM), ADVALUBE(TM), ADVAWAX(TM) and ADVAPAK(TM). The transaction includes a world-scale manufacturing facility dedicated to these products in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

In October 2012, PMC acquired Arkema’s global organotin and organophosphine-based polymer stabilizers, catalysts and fine chemicals business in the Americas and Europe.
