Pilipinas Shell launches new generation of premium fuels

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. launched its new generation of premium fuels which include Shell V-Power Nitro+Gasoline, Shell V-Power Nitro+Racing and Shell V-Power Nitro+Diesel. The company announced that the new line will replace its Shell V-Power and Shell Super Premium. Anthony Lawrence Yam, vice president for retail of Pilipinas Shell said that compared to Shell standard fuels, the new line of fuels were designed to improve engine performance, while also delivering more power and responsiveness. “We have around 120 passionate fuels scientists and specialists across the globe working on the fuels innovation, development and implementation to meet the evolving needs of customers and their cars,” said Mae Ascan, a fuel scientist from Shell Global Solutions. “Shell V-Power Nitro +Gasoline is our latest technology designed to improve performance and act instantly in your engine.” The new line of fuels contains more detergents, which prevent deposit formation that can affect engine performance. Pia Que-Ang, Shell V-Power Brand Manager added, “ We have also increased the friction modifier content designed to instantly reduce friction in critical engine areas, thereby helping the engine deliver more power.” The new generation of premium fuels will be on the same price range as its predecessors.
