PIB producer to diversify into lubes

Maharashtra Polybutenes Ltd (MPL) plans to diversify into the manufacturing of industrial and automotive lubricants, specialities and process oils. It also wants to expand its polyisobutene (PIB) capacity to 25,000 from 10,000 tons with an investment of Rs25 crore (US$5.67 million). (February 28, 2007)
