Phoenix Petroleum sees revenues rise by 26% in 2012

Oil retailer Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. reported a 26% increase in revenue to PHP34.7 billion (US$853 million) in 2012, from PHP27.5 billion (US$676 million) a year ago. The growth was the result of increased sales and retail network expansion.
 
As of the end of December 2012, the Davao City-based company had a total of 300 retail stations countrywide, raising its market share in the country’s oil industry in terms of retail stations from 5.4% to 6%.
 
Phoenix Petroleum’s business in the Philippines consists of trading in refined petroleum products, including lubricants, operation of oil depots and storage facilities, and shipping, logistics and allied services. (January 30, 2013)
