Petronas Dagangan sees stronger sales volume
Malaysia’s Petronas Dagangan Bhd said it expects retail sales volume to recover fully in 2009 due to lower fuel prices. On-going sales and promotional campaigns may even drive the company to post stronger sales volume, said Managing Director and Chief Executive Mohd Sabarudin Mohd Amin. The company plans to open up to 40 new petrol stations this year on a capital expenditure of more than 300 million ringgit (US$81.89 million). (February 16, 2009)
