Petronas Dagangan inks 10-year deal with Proton Edar

Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PDB) and Proton Edar Sdn Bhd (PESB), the Malaysian marketing arm of Proton Holdings Bhd, have signed a local supply and commercial collaboration agreement (LSCCA) where PDB will be PESBs exclusive partner and supplier of automotive lubricants. The agreement seals a 10-year business agreement for PDB to exclusively supply PESB with Petronas Syntium lubricants, and is estimated to generate total revenue of 260 million ringgit (US$84.03 million) for PDBs Syntium lubricants business. The signing of the agreement will bring both PDB and PESB to a new level of competitiveness in the domestic automotive and lubricants market, said PDB Managing Director and CEO Amir Hamzah Azizan.
