Petrolimex opens rep office in Cambodia

The state-owned Vietnam National Petroleum Corp. (Petrolimex), the country’s biggest petroleum trader, opened a representative office in Phnom Penh, marking its official footprint in Cambodia. Via the newly-established office, Petrolimex expects to conduct market research and seek opportunities on trading petroleum products with partners, Petrolimex’s Chairman Bui Ngoc Bao said on its website. Petrolimex expects to transform the office into Petrolimex Cambodia Pte. Ltd. in the next years, after converting its representative office in Singapore into Petrolimex Singapore Pte.
