PetroChina to add storage capacity in NE China
PetroChina, China’s largest oil producer and second largest refiner, plans to add 1.04 million cubic meters of storage capacity for oil products in northern China during the 2009-2011 period, the website of its parent company CNPC said. CNPC said PetroChina has started constructing storage tanks in Chengde city, Hebei province, with storage capacity of 380,000 cubic meters. In the first nine months of 2010, PetroChina expanded its oil products storage capacity by 1.50 million cubic meters. (November 8, 2009)
