PetroChina, Sinopec raise refined oil prices

PetroChina Co., Ltd. and China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (Sinopec) both raised their wholesale and retail domestic prices for refined oil products from March 20 to 22, 2010. Wholesale gasoline and diesel fuel prices were raised by 100 yuan (US$14.65) per ton across China, except for Guangxi and Zhejiang. In Guangdong and Fujian, many gas stations under the aegis of PetroChina and Sinopec had canceled a series of preferential policies on retail gasoline. (March 24, 2010)
