Pertamina’s sale of non-subsidized fuel up by 4%

With the implementation of Indonesia’s policy prohibiting official vehicles from using subsidized premium gasoline, state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina reported a 4% increase in the sale of non-subsidized Pertamax gasoline. “So the policy is working well in the field. There was an increase in the sales of Pertamax gasoline on Saturday (June 2) and Sunday (June 3). I think the sale increase will be more than 4% on Monday (June 4) and Tuesday (June 5),” said Pertamina Marketing and Commercial director Hanung Budya. He said that Pertamina will focus on making the government`s subsidized fuel austerity program a success. (June 7, 2012)
