Pertamina to export lubes to 3 more countries
Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina will export its lubricants to three more countries China, Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, to boost its international sales. Pertamina’s Lubricant Marketing Manager for Overseas Markets, Redesmon Munir, said the company is now preparing to penetrate these three new export markets. The company sold a total of 458,000 kiloliters of lubricants in 2010. This year, the company is targeting to sell 546,000 kiloliters. Its target volume for overseas sales this year is between 125,000 and 150,000 kiloliters, with Australia, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates among its largest markets. The bulk of its export sales, 95%, is for automotive use. (April 30,2011)
