Pennzoil synthetics provide motorists with a boost of fuel savings
Fuel economy is always important to consumers, but most drivers are not aware that if enough deposits form in the engine, there could be a loss of 3-6% of fuel economy. The latest formulations of Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic Motor Oil are created with Superior Active Cleansing Agents, which keep engines clean throughout their lives, so one can drive an extra 550 miles per year on average vs. a dirty engine. This is a difference that drivers will notice at the pump.
“We at Pennzoil understand how important it is to save a few dollars when fueling up your vehicle,” said Bree Sandlin, Pennzoil global brand manager. “Clean engines get more miles and our synthetic motor oils are designed to do just that by helping consumers maintain the best fuel economy possible for their vehicle while utilizing our superior cleaning technology.”
To help motorists go farther for even less, Pennzoil has teamed up with the FRN program, a free loyalty program that helps consumers save money on fuel. Motorists can save USD0.50/gal on Shell fuel with each five quart purchase or oil change of Pennzoil Ultra or Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic Motor Oil through the FRN program. This promotional offer runs in retail stores from August 1 through October 31, 2013 and September 1 through October 31, 2013 at participating oil change locations.
The Fuel Rewards Network(TM) program is owned and operated by Excentus Corporation. The growing Fuel Rewards Network(TM) program provides members with the opportunity to earn free fuel simply by purchasing the things they normally would from more than 1,400 retail locations, nearly 700 online merchants, and 10,000+ restaurants, and redeeming their rewards at participating fuel stations across the country.
The Pennzoil brand is part of the Shell Lubricants group, which supply more than 13% of the total global lubricants volume.
