Pakistan Pindiites facing severe kerosene oil shortage
The residents of Rawalpindi city, Pakistan and its adjoining areas are facing acute kerosene oil shortage, besides electricity and Sui gas at the peak of winter season. According to a survey conducted by the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), kerosene oil’s supply is insufficiently in various localities including Dhoke Kala Khan, Dhoke Kashmirian, Shamsabad, Katarian, Dhoke Hassu, Ratta Amral, Fazalabad and Dhoke Syedan. A senior official of an oil distribution company said, owing to fog in the plains of Punjab, there are problems in the smooth supply of kerosene oil as tankers being used for transportation of this fuel are taking extra time to reach their destination.
