Oxea appoints IMCD as exclusive distributor in Europe

Oxea, a leading international manufacturer of oxo intermediates and oxo derivatives, announced that it has appointed the Rotterdam-based IMCD Group as its exclusive distributor in Europe. IMCD will distribute Oxea’s line of alkyl amines. These chemicals are used in industries such as life sciences or pharmaceuticals. Alkyl amines are also used in the manufacturing of rubber additives, polymers, dyes, corrosion inhibitors and fuel additives. Oxea said that with IMCD as its new European distributor, it can now better serve its broad customer base which requires smaller product quantities. “Excellent product quality and reliable supply have already made us a market leader in the amines merchant market. By working with IMCD we strengthen our market position and reach new customers. This appointment is therefore in line with our strategy to grow our derivatives business further,” said Michael Harbich, European marketing manager at Oxea. (April 18, 2012)
