Orlen Oil appoints new president

Krzysztof Pietrzyk The Orlen Oil supervisory board has appointed Krzysztof Pietrzyk as the Polish company’s president, and Boguslaw Kaczmarczyk management board member of the PKN Orlen subsidiary.
At the same time, the board has dismissed Renata Szostak, who had been Orlen Oil president since November 2012, when she replaced Marian Cwiertniak. Pietrzyk has been the company’s management board member since October 2009, but he started working for PKN Orlen group back in 1995.
Orlen Oil was founded in 1998 by the largest players in the lubricants market. The company produces and distributes lubricants, including motor oils, oils for construction machinery, industrial oils and technical oils. In 2005, Orlen Oil Cesco was founded to distribute Orlen Oil products in the Czech Republic.
