Oranoss aims for 5% market share in Thailand

Oranoss Co., the exclusive importer and distributor of ZIC products in Thailand, is aiming for a 5% market share over the next two years, the Bangkok Post reports. ZIC is a synthetic lubricant made from YUBASE, which is a very high viscosity index (VHVI) base oil produced by SK Lubricants Ltd. of South Korea. Oranoss plans to sell 450 million liters of oil for the industrial, marine and automotive sectors in 2011. The growth of the industry in Thailand, especially the eco-car segment, should mean a motor oil market worth more than 20 billion baht (US$668 million) next year, following a growth rate this year of 5%,” said Oranoss Marketing Director Seaksun Srisupaolarn.
