One worker dead, another critically injured at Jurong refinery
ExxonMobil Corp. said one worker was killed and another critically injured during maintenance work at its Jurong refinery in Singapore. The two workers were found unconscious in a space filled with nitrogen. The company has suspended maintenance work at the 605,000-barrel per day refinery, which produces fuels, lubricants and specialty products. It said it is working with local authorities to determine the cause of the accident. (March 29,2011)
