NRL continues to expand retail outlets

The second retail outlet of the Numaligarh Refinery Ltd. (NRL) in the city of Guwahati, in Assam, was opened on RG Baruah Road in September. The first retail outlet of the company in the city was set up in the Joyanagar area and it started operations in April last year. The outlet has a number of customer-friendly facilities of international standards like other NRL outlets. The NRL launched the first of its retail outlets dubbed energy stations in February 2005 at Kaziranga in Assam. Now, it has set up 59 outlets all over the country. The company’s refinery, which was commissioned in 2000, produces Euro II- and Euro III-compliant fuels made possible by its hydrocracker unit. (September 25, 2006)
